Golden Group Hospitality Launches Ethiopia Gastronomy Festival & Expo 2026, Strengthening Ethiopia’s Culinary Identity
Golden Group Hospitality, one of Ethiopia’s most prominent and visionary hospitality companies, proudly announces the Ethiopia Gastronomy Festival & Expo 2026, in collaboration with the Addis Ababa City Administration Tourism Commission. The event will take place at Millennium Hall on January 17–18, 2026.
This initiative follows a formal partnership established under a long-term Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), reaffirming Golden Group Hospitality’s leadership and commitment to elevating Ethiopia’s hospitality and food sectors. The announcement was made during a joint media briefing held at Sheraton Addis on December 03, 2025, attended by leading industry professionals and media representatives.
During the press briefing, Chef Henok Zeryhun, CEO of Golden Group Hospitality, expressed that the Ethiopia Gastronomy Festival & Expo will serve as a powerful platform to present Ethiopia’s diverse foods, culinary traditions, and dining culture to a global audience.
In addition, the Addis Ababa Tourism Commission highlighted that this national festival is strategically designed to strengthen the role of hotels, restaurants, and suppliers in advancing Ethiopia’s tourism sector. Commissioner Hunde Kebede underscored the festival’s significance in promoting and developing the country’s growing gastronomy tourism landscape.
